Apples and Bananas

Concrete
I had final jury on Friday, and was pretty much up to my elbows in concrete on Thursday making this model. But it's finished, and it turned out alright. Here's a few pictures of my concrete, functioning water fountain:

Details
Architecture is interesting. After three straight days of 4am nights and too much coffee, models are finished, and projects are presented. Four hours of constructive criticism later, students are left with bags under their eyes and models decorating their desks. This week, I had my first pin-up of the semester in my construction-detail studio, and here are two details of my models:

Inspiration
I guess it's time to make these photographs official and put them online. There are so many pictures that inspire me, most of them include architecture. As an architecture major, I understand buildings, and enjoy photographing them. One of the reasons I'm taking this class is to step out of my comfort zone, and try photographing people.
